Awards and new global ambitions marked the graduation of the high-level international managers in BMI EMBA Class 17. The graduates applauded Mr. Christian Perret, co-head of international affairs for the HEC Paris Alumni Association, who was named a “BMI Alumnus of Honour” during the ceremony at the old City Hall in Vilnius in recognition of the strong links he’s helped build between alumni of the leading global business school HEC Paris and BMI alumni.
The BMI EMBA class of 2017 includes managers from global business organizations and some of Northern Europe’s best-known business names. They bring the total number of graduates since the programme began in 1999 to more than 700 high-powered executives.
Representatives of HEC Paris, other BMI partner schools and the business community attended the diploma presentation, along with families and colleagues of the graduates.
Several graduates received awards for achievements: Nerijus Bakšys, Head of Laufen’s Baltic Office, won the award for the highest grade average. The award for the best EMBA diploma paper went to Donatas Kundrotas, Manager, Financial Advisory at Deloitte. A special HEC Paris award was given to Alexander Husty, Country CFO at Veolia for the best thesis on strategy.
