Module at Italy’s SDA Bocconi marks growth of BMI Global Mobility Scheme

A first group of executives from BMI last week completed a high-powered module at SDA Bocconi School of Management. The Italian business school, which the FT ranks No. 6 in Europe, is the newest venue BMI offers programme participants and alumni under its Global Mobility Scheme.

“The BMI Global Mobility Scheme opens the door to attending modules and building international networks at a growing list of leading business schools around the world. This unique executive exchange format is highly valued by the executives who study at BMI,  and adding locations like Bocconi makes it all the more extraordinary,” said BMI Director General Jaunius Pusvaškis.

Four BMI alumni travelled to SDA Bocconi in Milan for a 5-day intensive study tour on the strategic operations and supply chain management. It combined lectures by international authorities with real cases, innovative simulations and a site visit to ABB, the maker of power grids and automation gear.

“The content was top-notch, really world class, plus it was an invaluable chance to work together and network with executives from Italy and several other countries,” said Vytautas Dobilas (BMI EMBA Class 17), COO of Deeper, a rapidly growing maker of smart devices for outdoor activities.

The other participating BMI alumni were TD Baltic CFO Rūta Dabašinskaitė-Vitkė (EMBA Class 10), Simonas Černiauskas (EMBA Class 15) who is Business Development Manager at UniQue Software, and Gediminas Judzentas (EMBA Class 15) who is Marketing Director at Agrowill Group.
