EMBA Class XVII Danced Its Way into the BMI Family

Saturday, April 16, was a special day for BMI Executive MBA Class XVII. The newest BMI cohort was officially welcomed into the BMI family of business leaders in a “christening” event organized by EMBA Class XVI and attended by members of several past cohorts.

About 100 people altogether took part in the festive evening at La Cave, the cosy restaurant at the Amberton Vilnius Hotel. Pleasant mingling over food and drink led up to the highlight of the night – the screening and judging of dance videos made by teams from Class XVII.

Yes, dancing with passion to a pre-assigned song was this year’s test of creativity for members of the new EMBA cohort. And they passed with flying colours, earning awards of all kinds by decision of the public and a distinguished jury of alumni and BMI staff.

BMI itself also presented the executive students with a keepsake to remember their start – a collage of photos of all the members of the EMBA class and their international professors. Meanwhile, BMI Director General Jaunius Pusvaškis and BMI Alumni President Vaiva Tylienėwere among the first to offer words of warmest welcome to the new group of managers.
