Diplomas and awards received by International Executive MBA (Co-Organized by UCLouvain and BMI Executive Institute) Class of 2022

A group of ambitious leaders has received their UCLouvain and the BMI International Executive MBA Diplomas after an intensive yet highly valuable journey. Academic officials from BMI and UCLouvan, its international partner schools, administration members, graduates’ families and colleagues all attended the ceremony at the Aula Magna in Louvain-la-Neuve, in Belgium.

“You have invested several months of your time and energy to build your better selves – better decision makers, better partners, and truly inspiring leaders, and I am sure you have benefitted ”, BMI Director-General Jurga Bendikaitė-Ursavas told the group of graduates.

Speakers, including Prof. Jean-Paul Larçon, BMI Co-Chairman of the Board and Professor of HEC Paris, Prof. Véronique Malleret, BMI Academic Dean and Professor of HEC Paris, Prof. Eric Cornuel, the Director General & CEO of EFMD, Prof. Per Agrell, the Dean of Louvain School of Management (UCLouvain), dedicated insightful greetings to graduates and expressed their sincere wishes for their further achievements.

The ceremony was filled with joy and warm memories after watching special videos that both graduates and their professors dedicated to this cheerful occasion.

As usual, during the ceremony graduates received special awards:

Mrs. Joanna Baszczuk, former Global System Owner Change Control at GSK, won the special award for the best International EMBA Capstone Project in Strategy.

Mr. Marc Michielsen, International Distributor Manager Asia at Genus ABS Asia, and Mr. Brian Waterschoot, E-Shop Manager at Delhaize Belgium, won the Best Capstone Project Award. Two graduates were awarded since the commission recognized both projects as equally worthy of the highest ratings.

Mr. Johan Van Langendonck, Director of Strategic Planning & Market Intelligence at Bridgestone EMIA, won the Best Grade Average Award.

For more than two decades, BMI has been developing high-level managers and entrepreneurs capable of leading organizations worldwide. Based in more than 30 countries, they represent all modern industries. More than 90% of participants are top and senior managers, many sit on boards, and a good number are founders of businesses of their own. A few have high-level public sector management roles. All in all, they bring the total count of the BMI alumni network close to a thousand high-powered executives.
