30 January, 2019 BMI Presents... Benefits, remuneration and challenges of Independent Board Members in the Lithuanian SOEs

Guest speaker: Rytis Valūnas, Chief Administrative Officer & General Counsel at Klaipėdos Nafta, graduate of BMI 4-Continent Executive MBA Class XVIII.

Nearly 200 seats in the boards and supervisory councils will be available this year in the Lithuanian state-owned enterprises (SOEs) due to the corporate governance reform triggered by the membership in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The session is based on BMI EMBA diploma paper research and will cover Lithuanian SOEs board members’ profile. You should be able to clearly understand what could you expect as a board member in Lithuanian SOEs and whether it is worth to become one or even expand your horizon and aim for positions in the SOEs in other Baltic Region states.
