BMI Alumni Upgrade with Prof. Carlos Osorio

27th November, 2019. BMI Alumni Upgrade – "Innovation strategy and enhanced managerial coordination: unleashing the creative power of complexity"

We are glad to invite our graduates to an upgrade session, to sharpen the practical knowledge you got in the BMI 4-Continent Executive MBA Programme, and to mingle with your alumni network. Alumni Upgrade sessions are open to all BMI EMBA graduates, from Class I to the most recent alumni class.

Lecturer: Prof. Carlos Osorio, Adjunct Professor of Innovation Universidad del Desarrollo (Chile).

Prof. C. Osorio is partner and cofounder at Yuken, a global innovation and design capability building impact research lab based in Santiago (Chile), guest lecturer at Singularity University, and visiting professor at Deusto Business School (Spain). His coaching, research and consulting work focuses on innovation strategy; innovation and design processes; and learning in complex, risky and uncertain environments.

Upgrade content: Common sense dictates innovation is a risky and uncertain endeavor. As a result, many innovation strategies are designed to deal with a high rate of project failure. New research, however, shows we need to understand and manage innovation with uncommon sense and unconventional wisdom. In this talk, Prof. Osorio addresses innovation strategy as a plan to manage the dynamic complexity resulting from the interplay among 27 critical variables, cultural barriers and limitations, and processes affecting innovation performance at the corporate level.

Venue: BMI Executive Hall, Konstitucijos ave. 7, Floor 31, Vilnius

Date and Time: 5:00 pm, 27th November, 2019

Upgrade event is free of cost.

Upgrade session is for BMI Alumni only, seating is limited. Advanced registration is required.
