A group of bright-minded leaders has received their BMI International Executive MBA diplomas after months of life-changing experiences. Academic officials from BMI and its international partner schools, graduates’ families and colleagues, and BMI alumni all attended the ceremony at the City Hall in Vilnius.
“This is a significant accomplishment. One that has required hundreds of hours of reading, studying, and practical work in addition to full days of lectures. Finally, today is a day for greetings and celebrations”, BMI Director-General Jurga Bendikaitė-Ursavas told the group of executives.
Speakers included Rolandas Valiūnas, BMI Co-Chairman of the Board and Managing Partner of Ellex Valiunas, Prof. Jean-Paul Larçon, BMI Co-Chairman of the Board and Professor of HEC Paris, Prof. Véronique Malleret, BMI Academic Dean and Professor of HEC Paris, Prof. Rita Bendaravičienė, Dean of Faculty of Economics and Management at Vytautas Magnus University, Jurgita Lemešiūtė, the Member of the Council of BMI Alumni Association and Managing Partner of People Link.
Professors from around the world, who are one of the biggest assets of the BMI EMBA and are highly rated by programme participants, sent special video greetings to those gathered at the City Hall.
As usual, three graduates received special awards:
Agnė Daukšienė, Head of Business Transformation at Ignitis Lietuva, won the special HEC Paris award for the best Diploma Paper in Strategy.
Vitalija Butkevičienė, Key Account Manager at KRKA Lietuva, won the Best Diploma Paper Award.
Domantas Patinskas, Operations and Backend Sales Manager for Baltics at Studio Moderna, won the Best Grade Average Award.
The BMI EMBA Class 21 include managers from international business organizations and national institutions.
For more than two decades, BMI has been developing high-level managers and entrepreneurs capable of leading organizations worldwide. Based in more than 30 countries, they represent all modern industries. The vast majority are top and senior managers, many sit on boards, and a good number are founders of businesses of their own. A few have high-level public sector management roles. All in all, they bring the total count of BMI alumni network close to a thousand high-powered executives.
