Digital Strategy and Transformation in Age of AI

The module explores how powerful digital technologies – especially AI – are fundamentally reshaping how companies operate, organize, and compete.
Through readings, case studies, and discussions, you’ll discover how businesses can transform into agile, data-driven enterprises that harness smart algorithms to work faster and smarter. We’ll apply cutting-edge frameworks around AI, data analytics, platforms, and digital business models, examining how generative AI in particular is revolutionizing everything from customer relationships to entire industry structures.
How You Will Learn
Over two intensive days, you will learn through interactive lectures, case discussions, and guided applications of practical frameworks. The module combines conceptual clarity with hands-on work on AI strategy, platforms, and digital business models, with dedicated focus on generative AI use cases. You will close the course with a team-based group project, where you will conceptualise and assess AI-powered services and business processes, and present your approach.
After this course you will be able to:
- Understand the economic logic and technical capabilities of artificial intelligence and related technologies driving ongoing digital transformation.
- Assess and develop use cases for generative artificial intelligence in business.
- Formulate and evaluate strategies for digital ecosystems and platforms, including platform competition and platform strategy choices.
- Design and lead organisations that can realise the potential of contemporary digital technologies, including navigating adoption challenges, ethics, and resistance in knowledge work.
