The BMI Alumni community came together at Vadovų konferencija EBIT 2026, held on 11-12 June at Vilnius Grand Resort.
For the first time, BMI Alumni had a dedicated presence at one of Lithuania’s key leadership gatherings, bringing the community together for two days of insight, reconnection, and shared experience.
Together with the BMI Alumni Executive Club, BMI Executive Institute created a special alumni experience centred around the BMI Alumni Lounge – a dedicated space for conversations, meetings, and informal time together throughout the conference.
One of the highlights was a closed-door lunchtime conversation with Jesper Brodin, former CEO of IKEA and current Board Member of Ingka Group | IKEA. Following his keynote at EBIT, Jesper continued the discussion with BMI Alumni in a private setting, focusing on IKEA’s culture, unwritten rules, people-centred leadership, digital and omni-channel transformation, and sustainability as a strategic priority.
The meet-up was moderated by Mantas Marčiulaitis, Chairman of the Council at BMI Alumni Executive Club.
The alumni presence at EBIT 2026 reflected the strength of community-led collaboration. The BMI Alumni Lounge became a visible meeting point during the conference – a place for familiar faces, new conversations, and the kind of exchange that keeps an alumni network active long after graduation.
BMI Executive Institute and the BMI Alumni Executive Club extend sincere thanks to the partners who helped make this experience possible:
🔸 Volfas Engelman – for preparing a specially crafted non-alcoholic experience for EBIT and the BMI Alumni community
🔸 AB Kauno Baldai – for helping create a cosy and welcoming BMI Alumni Lounge
🔸 HRX LIETUVA – for supporting transportation
The collaboration with Volfas Engelman was especially meaningful, as it was created together with Marius Horbačauskas, CEO of Volfas Engelman and alumnus of the BMI Executive Institute International Executive MBA. The limited-edition non-alcoholic Gelato Blueberry Ale, prepared exclusively for the BMI Alumni Executive Lounge, became a memorable expression of what can happen when alumni relationships continue beyond graduation.
For BMI Executive Institute, the alumni presence at EBIT 2026 was a reminder that the value of executive education continues through the relationships, initiatives, and conversations that grow within the community over time.
Thank you to all BMI Alumni who joined us at EBIT 2026 and contributed to this shared experience.
