Our International Executive MBA Class of 2026 – Vilnius cohort – spent an intensive week at NUS Business School (National University of Singapore), ranked #8 globally and #1 in Asia, according to the latest QS World University Rankings (WUR) 2026. The module was designed to blend academic rigor with hands-on exposure to Asia’s dynamic business landscape.
Under the guidance of Professor Virginia Cha (Adjunct Professor at NUS and Academic Director at SMART – Singapore MIT Alliance for Research and Technology), participants worked through lean startup methods, investor-grade pitching, and the realities of scaling in fast-changing markets. Additional voices from the innovation ecosystem included Dr. Jovan Tan, Parin Metha, Venture Builder at Temasek, and Sam Pang, Managing Director at Samwoh Corporation Pte. Ltd. A special highlight was a keynote by Taimur Baig, Managing Director and Chief Economist at DBS Bank.
Classroom learning was matched with field visits to organizations at the forefront of transformation. The cohort engaged with teams at Samwoh Corporation, Hook Coffee, and Nurasa to see how strategy translates into execution and how scaling challenges are solved in practice.
Throughout the week, participants formed venture teams, built and tested ideas, and concluded with a Demo Day in front of venture capitalists, featuring Ronnie Wee, Founder and Managing Partner at IncuVest, and Shiyan Koh, General Partner at Hustle Fund. The sessions provided clear feedback on investor expectations, evidence standards, and due diligence.
Cultural immersion rounded out the experience. The group explored Little India, Kampong Glam, and Chinatown, observing how Singapore’s diversity fuels creativity, commerce, and community building.
Thank you to our faculty, guest speakers, and partner companies for the warm welcome and meaningful collaboration. The module strengthened leadership capabilities, expanded networks, and broadened global perspective for the challenges ahead!
