We’re proud to announce that the article “The Ethics of Managing People’s Data” by Dominique Rouziès, Professor in Marketing and Sales at HEC Paris and Academic Dean of BMI Executive Institute, and Michael Segalla, Emeritus Professor at HEC Paris and visiting Professor at BMI Executive Institute, has been selected as a Harvard Business Review Data Strategy Essential and included in the highly selective “HBR 10 Must Reads on Data Strategy” (June 2025 edition)!
Originally published in HBR’s July/August 2023 issue and translated into six international editions, the article explores the ethical responsibilities leaders face when managing employee data in a digital age. Its inclusion in HBR’s 10 Must Reads places it among the most influential recent ideas in data strategy, in a collection introduced by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.
