The executives in Class XIX of the BMI 4-Continent Executive MBA got many practical insights from discussions with industry experts during this week’s module on Corporate Finance and Company Valuation led by Prof. Martin Essenburg from DePaul University in the USA.
A unique programme called “I Choose to Teach!” was born ten years ago.
Its purpose is to attract the best students from high schools and universities to become teachers in schools all over the country. Since the start of the programme, 118 talented young people whose area of study was not pedagogy have spent at least 2 years each working as teachers at 78 different schools, directing impacting more than 26,000 pupils.
Asta Meškerevičiūtė, the CEO of software development company Inventi, has been elected President of the alumni association of the international business school Baltic Management Institute (BMI). She will head the association’s new Council, elected in February for a two-year term, in its work to build ties between the business leaders who have studied at BMI and promote the sharing of knowledge and experience.
